Topic: reflective and hopeful
Open Heart Surgery

This is my first entry for my first blog. As you can see on my mood, I am reflective and hopeful, which is mostly true. My choice of music says a lot about how I feel right now. I actually made a CD with this song included on it for the one I love, who didn't seem to take much notice. Let's face it, the female side of me wants to become incensed over that and beat him over the head with a Summer's Eve douche bag. But I know that he's male and probably didn't read the subliminal "I love you's" in between the tracks. At some point, as a female, you have to accept and come to terms with the fact that men do not read our minds, or our hearts. They don't know what you mean by just looking at them, or understand the sighs under your breath. The catch is, if you tell them you are being too demanding or you're being a nag.

So, where is the happy medium? Perhaps, there isn't one. Maybe they are just supposed to accept us the way we are, and we them. It could be true that we all spend too much time trying to change our mates into what we think that they should be. It's all about acceptance, girls.
